KHL aims to improve the health and wellbeing of local people, particularly those who suffer poorer health and exclusion from mainstream services and opportunities. It is a 'healthy living centre', mainly funded by NHS Bradford & Airedale and BMDC.

Our staff team work with people in local communities developing new activities to improve their health and wellbeing eg. sport, play activities for children, exercise for adults, social opportunities for older people, healthy eating opportunities, community arts, mental health opportunities, support for young parents and sexual health for young people.

Our town centre premises have good ground floor access and 2 large meeting rooms with disabled access. These are available some daytimes, evenings and all weekends.
