Our group is open to anyone who is interested in the Local History of Heaton and its district. We meet the first Monday of each month at St. Barnabas Choir Vestry on Parsons Road at 2pm. The cost is £2 inc. refreshments. We have a variety of speakers and the occasional trip to places of interest. For those who want to, we have additional meetings for research and producing publications. Our first publication “Memories of Lister Park” costs £5 and is available from the group.
