The Community Advice Network (CAN) is a federation of local advice charities working across Bradford District. We give free, independent, confidential, impartial and quality assured advice direct to local people about their rights. We help people with problems about debt, benefits, tax credits, disability allowances, housing, homelessness, employment rights, fuel, immigration, nationality, consumer, community care, health, family and related issues.
Please see our website www.bradfordcan.org.uk for further details of where to get advice.
Our ‘full’ members have all been awarded the national Advice Quality Standard (AQS) or the Specialist Quality Mark (SQM). This means they have been assessed by independent auditors and meet national standards for giving good quality advice. Our ‘associate’ members also help with people advice problems but do not have the AQS or SQM.
Please note the CAN project office at Voluntary Services Centre, Bradford is an administrative office only – we cannot give advice to the public.
