Aspire-i is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to help change people’s lives for the better through learning and work. We run the National Careers Service inBradfordand manage a partnership of 14 organisations which offer Foundation Learning to 16-18 year olds in the District through the Aspire2work programme. We also manage projects on behalf of organisations which involve linking with local partners – like the Manningham Worklessness Co-Design partnership on a local scale, or the UK Euroguidance centre on a larger one.
Aspire-i Ltd is a social enterprise committed to helping individuals, organisations and communities succeed through learning and work.
This means we have our roots in the local community, and we see working with and empowering local people and organisations as a key part of our mission.
Because we operate on a not-for-profit basis, when we make a surplus we aim to use this for the good of the communities that we work in. Putting it simply, when Aspire-i does well, local people do too.
The Aspire-i Community Fund is our way of putting something back into Bradford and the wider areas we serve.
For details of how to apply for the 2013-14 round of community finding, visit the Aspire-i website.
