Finance Forum Bradford (Online via Zoom)

Start date and time: 9th July 2020 12:00pm
End date and time: 9th July 2020 2:00pm

In just a short space of time, the Coronavirus has dramatically changed life for charities and voluntary organisations.  Many of you will be coping with the ’triple whammy’ of dealing with increased need, having less capacity (staff and volunteers) and seeing your income (through trading and fundraising) drastically reduced.

Our regional WYCAS Finance Forums were introduced to  provide an opportunity for people who volunteer or work in the voluntary and charitable sector to get together on a quarterly basis to discuss finance and accounting issues.  Being a finance worker can be isolating at times, and the Forums were intended to help us learn from each other, provide training opportunities and offer a supportive network.

If you work (paid or unpaid) in finance in the voluntary and community sector and would like to join us for a virtual Finance Forum we’d be very pleased to welcome you – bring your own coffee!

We won’t have a specific topic for this one, but it’ll just be a chance to compare notes on how we are all coping, and share any useful tips on e.g, accessing some of the additional support being made to charities by the Government.

If you want to chat about anything before then, please feel free to give us a ring on 0113 270 6291.
