Creating a positive learning environment (course taster)

Whether it's remote learning, supporting homework or getting used to school again after lockdown, a positive learning environment is an important aspect o any child or your person's education. This informal, online session will explore motivation for learning.

We will look at ways to create a conducive environment to encourage engagement in learning. It will be a chance to find out more about Foundation Degrees in Learning and Teaching and Special Eductional Needs and Disability, part-time courses for adults working or volunteering.

Lifelong Learning Centre, University of Leeds We deliver courses that encourage and support student diversity at the University of Leeds, with a focus on students from under-represented groups or who don't have traditional qualifications.

We also offer support to current and prospective mature, part-time and Foundation level students, and apprentices. This is done through offering one-to-one advice sessions, open days and subject events to help you decide your pathway into higher education.
