My DIVA

When you first log in to the DIVA Bradford website, My DIVA will be shown. To get back to My DIVA at any point, click the "My DIVA" link at the top of the page.

Top tip: The "My DIVA" link only appears on the menu when you're logged in.

What can I do in My DIVA?

  • update your personal profile
  • change your password
  • View and edit your bookmarks, searches, or attributes.

What about updating an organisation's page on DIVA?

For security, only admin contacts can update organisation pages.

To become an admin contact for your organisation, please contact us.

If you are already an admin contact for an organisation, you will see it listed on the My DIVA page, and you will be able to edit it - just click on edit.

Remember to click update to save any changes.

Can I update a location or service?         

Yes - but DIVA admin must have already added you as an admin contact for the location or service that you want to update.

To become an admin contact for your location or service, please contact us.

If you are already an admin contact for a location or service, you will see them listed on the My DIVA page, and you will be able to edit it - just click on edit.

Remember to click update to save any changes.

'Profile' vs 'Contact Details'

Profile

Everybody who is a registered user of DIVA has a profile.

Your profile allows you to log in to My DIVA and add a job or event.

Your profile includes your name, email address and password.  It allows you to save bookmarks and searches so that you can use them again.

My contact details

If you are listed as a public or admin contact for an organisation, service or location on the DIVA website then you will also have a contact record.

All your contact records are listed under the "my contact details" heading in My DIVA.

Help! I can't see all my contact records in My DIVA.

My DIVA can only show the contact records that have the same email address as the email you have logged in with (linked to your profile).

So, if you use different email addresses for different roles, you will need to log in with different accounts to see all your contact records, and therefore all of your organisations.

Help! Why have I got more than one contact record?

If you use the same email address for multiple roles but other details vary (for instance a different postal address or phone number) then you will see more than one contact record. 

This is ok; you just need to be careful to edit the record you want.

Click "edit" and a list of the organisations that the contact is linked to appears.

Changing your email address

Top tip: If you have several contact records linked to your account, the best thing to do is edit your personal profile.

Changing your email address in your personal profile will automatically change the email address for every contact linked to your account (less work for you!).

Help! I've changed my email address and now can't see all my contact records in My DIVA.

My DIVA can only show the contact records which have the same email address that you have used in your personal profile.

If you change the email address for any of your contact records, but you don't change your personal profile email to match, you will no longer see these contact records in My DIVA.  Only once you have changed your personal profile email address will you see these contact records again.  But, as explained above, the simplest, and safest thing is to just change your personal profile email address.
