Skills Mentor/Support Worker (Autism First)

Skills Mentor (Support Worker)

Specialist Autism Services are looking for committed and enthusiastic Skills Mentors (Support Workers) to work at our Shipley, and soon to open, Leeds branches of Autism First.

Using these autism-specific learning plans, you will work with a progressive model of support that builds social tolerance and communication skills through the use of drama, music, arts and independent living skills, which are then used for practical sessions in the local community. This phased approach towards group involvement leads to increased self-esteem, independence and social inclusion for our members.
