Age UK Bradford District is an independent local charity which supports older people to live their best life.

We are currently recruiting a Retail and Distribution Assistant to work as part of a small team, supporting Age UK Bradford District’s Income Generation activities through stock collection, sorting, pricing, storage, identification of appropriate sales platforms and online/direct sales and distribution. The distribution centre is based at Wrose, but this role does occasionally require cover for our community hubs across the district.

Retail/distribution experience is essential for the role and exposure to a charity environment is preferred. The postholder will be required to drive the company van and therefore a full, clean driving license is required. A positive attitude together with excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must.

The role is subject to satisfactory references and DBS check, which will be arranged and paid for by Age UK Bradford District.

Salary £15,871.08 per annum

35 hours per week over 5 days

Monday to Saturday (may include Sundays in future)

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
