Based at our Bradford city centre offices/working from home/working at other locations as required

 

28 hours per week. Salary NJC scale point 22 pro rata. Please note: This post is currently funded for one year

Who are we looking for?

 

 

The successful candidate will need relevant experience and a range of skills including the ability to:

  • Develop partnerships with a variety of statutory and voluntary agencies in the city in order to provide a pro-active service to survivors of sexual violence 
  • Undertake risk assessments and planning to support women’s on-going safety
  • Help women to access their rights.
  • Enable women to access other services they might need e.g. counselling, health services etc.
  • Monitor case progress and keep women informed and supported throughout the criminal justice system process, if they choose to pursue this.

Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system and experience of working within women’s support services

 

PLEASE NOTE: BRC & SASS offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women-only safe space. It is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1) for this post to be filled by a woman.
