Job Title: Concerned Other Worker

Responsible to: Team Manager New Directions

Salary: £20,751 FTE pro-rata

Hours: 17 hours p/week

  • Tuesday 12noon - 8pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break) 
  • Wednesday 1pm - 5pm 
  • Thursday 9.15 – 4.15pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break) 

The post holder is expected to be flexible with regard to working hours in order to meet the requirements of the post.

This is an exciting position working as part of the New Directions Substance misuse adult treatment service in Bradford. The Concerned Other service aims to reduce pressure and increase quality of life for any person who is affected by somebody else’s substance misuse (including parents, carers, family and friends) . The successful candidate will have the skills to deal flexibly and effectively with concerned others of varying abilities and needs and who, on occasions, can be distressed.
