Staying Put are part of Bradford Survive and Thrive, an exciting and innovative new multi-agency partnership bringing together 3 organisations, Family Action, Staying Put and Women Centre, who are working together to develop a ‘one system approach’ to families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. 

Staying Put’s vision is to lead the way in quality service provision to victims of abuse and violence, to remove the barriers that prevent people from speaking out and seeking help.

Domestic Abuse Helpline Support Worker  - Permanent  

 

Salary - £23,313 / £24,313 per annum dependant on qualifications  

 

Hours - 37.5 Hours per week  

 

Possibility for home working if not local to Bradford

 

Prime objectives of post 

 

 

To work as a member of the team to offer helpline listening, emotional support and initial assessment of risk and needs to individuals offering gender sensitive service to those experiencing domestic and/or sexual abuse (DSA). 

 

Assess individuals for and refer on within the partnership for provision of intervention identified  

 

To provide a high quality and pro-active front-door service to individuals experiencing DSA; delivering a pathway of care focussing on immediate safety and initial support plan 

 

Ensure whole family approach to safeguarding and support planning 

 

Initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims.
