Youth Worker – Trusted Relationships 6-15 hours per week

£10.28 per hour

Objectives of the Trusted Relationships Project

Building on the extensive experience of delivering intensive youth support to vulnerable young people who irrespective of the nature of their exploitation share similar risk indicators and vulnerabilities, we will build on our existing provision to provide and extended service 3-10-pm Monday Friday and Saturdays which is flexible and responsive to need delivered through the development of the Trusted Relationships with a key worker.  

Group work - an innovative area-based youth work response to prevent young people aged 10-14 becoming involved in exploitation in Bradford East through targeted youth work. 

We are looking to appoint two dynamic individuals to join our Children and Young People’s team who will work as part of a wider Trusted Relationships partnership approach to preventing exploitation.

Youth Worker – Trusted Relationships

  • To provide intensive 1-1 support to children and young people between the ages of 10 – 14 identified as at risk of exploitation (CSE, Trafficking, Criminality, County Lines, Radicalisation etc.) who do not meet the threshold for statutory intervention and who, by the nature of their vulnerability are not responding to mainstream provision.

  • To plan and deliver targeted group work sessions to meet the needs of children and young people between the ages of 10 – 14 identified as at risk of exploitation
