In-house training for public or voluntary sector organisations and community groups.

Yorkshire Energy Doctor CIC works to tackle fuel poverty, giving independent advice to help households reduce their energy costs and be warm and well in their homes.

Thanks to a new project 'Heating for Health', funded by Northern Gas Networks, Yorkshire Energy Doctor is currently able to offer free carbon monoxide awareness training for public or voluntary sector organisations or community groups.

Session content

  • The dangers, signs and symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Mitigating the risks of carbon monoxide
  • Reducing damp caused by condensation
  • Refresher on the schemes available to help households with their energy costs
