Community Action Bradford & District, in partnership with Participate Projects and City of Bradford Metropolitan District's 'People Can' campaign, are pleased to be hosting a Funding and Advice Fair in aid of Small Charities Week.

The Funding and Advice Fair will take place at the Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, BD1 1JX, and will open at 10:00. It will run until 15:30 with a packed agenda throughout the day. The event will host a range of local, regional and national charity funders who will have stalls and talk about current and future opportunities; infrastructure support organisations such as Community Action, Volunteering Bradford and Participate; and other organisations will be giving workshops and advice on the following topics:

• Marketing and Social Media

• Community Asset Transfer

• Impact Reporting

• Charity Law

• Insurance

• Finance including Gift Aid, HMRC, Cash Handling

• Buildings and Building Management

No booking necessary, just turn up on the day and ask any questions you may have.

Small Charities Week takes place from the 17th to the 22nd June 2019, with the Big Advice Day occurring on the second day, Tuesday 18th June. The aim is to provide as much support to small charities as possible, we all know how hard it is for the smaller groups, expert advice isn't easy to come by and usually comes with a cost. This fair puts it all in one place, and for free.
