At Dementia Friendly Keighley (DFK) we aim to support people with dementia and their carers by raising dementia awareness and becoming a Dementia Friendly Town.  We want to increase understanding of dementia amongst the population and change the way Keighley communities think, talk, and act about dementia.

Community Action Bradford & District (Community Action) are supporting DFK to recruit and employ two new members to their team, who will be seconded to work at the DFK office.

Project Support Administrator post details:
Reporting to the DFK Committee, key elements of the post will be to provide information, office, administrative & project support role in-line with DFK priorities and under the supervision of Community Action. This role will organise the running of the DFK Office, sourcing information and resources, assisting the drop-in project, providing an administrative role and supporting volunteers. This role will be required to attend relevant DFK meetings and events.

We are seeking someone who can work for 12 hours per week. Possibility of extra hours as and when required.  An hourly rate of £10.00 will be paid and 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata).  This is currently a 12-month post subject to review of ongoing funding.

The closing date is Thursday 30th November 2017 at 9am; interviews will be held on Thursday 7th December 2017.  If you do not hear from us after Tuesday 5th December 2017, you have not been successful on this occasion.
