Responsible to:    PWP (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) Enrolment Team Lead at MyWellbeing College (IAPT)

MyWellbeing College is the new name for IAPT (Increased access to Psychological Therapies) in
Bradford and Craven. It is a service which is open to self-referral from members of the public via an
Enrolment Team. Although MyWellbeing College is an NHS service, led by Bradford District Foundation Care Trust, it is delivered as a partnership through a network of Voluntary and Community Sector organisations including The Cellar Trust (a local mental health charity).

This peer support worker (PSW) role is based within the Enrolment Team which is the first point of contact for people. The role has been developed specifically for people who have lived experience of mental distress. Through sharing wisdom from your own experiences, as a peer support worker, you will inspire hope and the belief that recovery is possible in others.

You will join 3 other peer support workers who are employed by The Cellar Trust, working as core members of the Enrolment Team at MyWellbeing College. You will complete suitability assessments with clients over the phone to ensure they are directed to the most appropriate service for support.

You will also be part of a wider network of peer support workers, including our team based at the Haven crisis and prevention service.
