We are seeking a sessional worker to work with our group therapist to deliver our existing and long-term Thursday girl’s group based in Shipley. The group is for girls and young women aged 14 – 18 who are survivors of sexual violence, and is run using therapeutic group analytic principles. Girls attend the group every week during term times from 4.30 – 6.00pm.

We are looking for a woman who has experience working with girls and young women, preferably in a group setting, understands the reality and impact of sexual violence and working within a strong feminist framework.
You will need to commit to being available every Thursday from 3.30pm to 7pm during school term times till the end of the 2018/19 academic year as a minimum and for monthly supervision (to be arranged).

VALUE AND PAYMENT OF THIS CONTRACT
The fee for each weekly Girls Group session is £87.50 inclusive of pre and post session work up to a maximum of £3,237.50 inclusive (to the end of 2018/19 academic year) dependent on start date.
The fees are the total available for the work. There will be no additional payments e.g. travel expenses, phone calls, etc. There will be no payments for annual leave, sickness or other absences. You will be responsible for payment of any tax (including VAT) or NI due to the Inland Revenue.
PLEASE NOTE: BRC & SASS offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women and girls only safe space. It is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1) for this work to be filled by a woman.
