Prince’s Trust Team Programme
Run in partnership with local delivery partners such as Bradford YMCA Team is a 12 week programme of personal development. Groups of 15 young people aged 16-25 take part in a challenging programme which begins with team-building activities, including a week at a residential activity centre, followed by team work on real projects in the local community, community fundraising, as well as individual work placements.
Job purpose (both roles):
• To deliver three Prince’s Trust Team 12 week personal development programme throughout the academic year.
• Ensure delivery complies with the structured 12-week stages and processes outlined in the Team Toolkit, the Team minimum quality standards, all assessment criteria and any additional contractual obligations.
• To recruit, select and safely lead a team through a personal development programme facilitating and encouraging team achievements, while guiding each Team Member on an individual learning journey and assessing their work to meet qualification requirements.
• Attend a 4 day (3 night) overnight residential with each team during week 2 of their 12 week programme.
Team Leader additional responsibilities
· Supervising staff, trainees and volunteers.
· Monitoring and delivering the programme within the given budgets.
· Work with funders namely, Bradford College and The Prince’s Trust to achieve the programme outcomes including timely reporting of information.
Successful candidate must be available to attend residential Team Leader Training: Monday 26th – Friday 30th November 2018
