Volunteer Coordinator

We would not be able to deliver our vital services without volunteers. Our volunteers help with fundraising, running our charity shop, gardening and grounds maintenance, and supporting our service users through peer support work. In addition to our existing volunteer roles we are in the process of developing a programme of community-based, recreational peer support, initially focused on establishing off-site woodworking and horticulture groups.
This programme will be supported by volunteer facilitators. We are seeking to appoint a Volunteer Coordinator to oversee all aspects of development, coordination and administration relating to volunteers.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised and confident working independently in a busy working environment. You must have excellent IT skills, experience of implementing processes and procedures, have good communication and people skills and be able to handle sensitive information confidentially. Experience of volunteer administration and/or working with volunteers would be an advantage.
