Communications and Insight Officer
£23,000 per annum - full time

We’re a small team with a big job to do, and this varied and interesting role is vital to ensuring we make a difference to health and care in Bradford.
You would be the key person in ensuring the work we undertake and the impact we make is communicated across the community, services and stakeholders of Bradford and District. Utilising all communication channels and methods.
You will support us to collect and understand what people tell us about their experiences of health and care, and what they believe should be different.
With strong data analysis, communication and creative skills, you’ll work in close partnership with health and care services and with local voluntary sector partners, to make sure people’s voices are heard in decisions that affect them.
About Healthwatch Bradford and District
Healthwatch Bradford and District is an independent organisation set up to help local people get the best from health and social care services across the district. We are a consumer champion and are here to give people a voice – improving services today and shaping them for the future. Our sole purpose is to help make care better for people, we are here to:
• Listen to what people think about the services that they use.
• Share people’s views with those that have the power to make change happen.
• Signpost to the services that are available locally.
 
Healthwatch is hosted by Community Action Bradford and District who hold the contract to run Healthwatch until 2019. Our main office base is in Keighley, but we work across the whole of the district.
This post is funded until June 2019, with the possibility of further extension currently being reviewed.
