Service Manager - Guide-Line

Mind in Bradford is looking for an exceptional and committed individual to join the Leadership team as a Service Manager for our Guide-Line service. This role is key to the successful delivery of our new strategy, which is to promote mental well-being and empower and help people experiencing mental health problems to manage and work towards recovery and fulfilment.

The Service Manager will oversee a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who have experience and passion for delivering the best possible service. They generally work from home for this 365-day-a-year helpline which is open from 12 noon to 9pm. The Service Manager will take overall responsibility for the development and delivery of Mind in Bradford’s Guide-Line telephone helpline service. This service provides advice and guidance for residents of Bradford, Craven, Airedale and Wharfedale.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of line managing, ideally within a health or social care setting. You should be very comfortable working with data, have excellent literacy skills, and be able to establish positive relationships with clients and other key stakeholders. You must be able to work flexibly as the role requires.
