Trustee Job Description
Step 2 is a dynamic and creative independent local charitable incorporated organisation. We are looking for a Trustee to act as Treasurer, providing strategic financial oversight and advice to the Board as they guide Step 2 to achieve our ambitious goals to support more young people in line with our growth and sustainability strategy.
About the Trustee role

Trustees have an important and interesting role within charities to ensure that the organisation is well run and fulfils all its current and future commitments to its beneficiaries. We provide a full induction into the role and reimbursement of travel expenses. Step 2’s trustees 4 times per year on Wednesdays, from 5.30pm-8.30pm.
The Treasurer will provide strategic advice to the Board and increase the maturity of financial management within Step 2. The day-to-day financial management work of the organisation is undertaken by our CEO and finance worker; the Treasurer will be required to review the monthly accounts and forecasts, advise on processes and suggest areas for development.
