We have got funding through Pears and Greenmoor Big Local to support local young people to have a stronger voice in local decisions and in planning their own activities and promoting involvement. The worker will work with Scholemoor Youth Action Group, will deliver one to one work and encourage young people to get involved in Scholemoor Beacon board, Greenmooor Big Local and other forums where they can influence local decisions.

Matt Milnes is the lead for Scholemoor Beacon in youth work and will be the main point of contact.

This is a part time sessional role and we are looking for someone who is flexible - work will be mainly after school and in the evening and will include one to one work.

Enhanced DBS check will be required.
