Age UK Bradford District is an independent local charity, which supports older people to live their best life.
The Sales and Marketing Executive is a brand new and exciting role within the Charity. This is a key role, contributing to achieving the Charity’s financial targets and strategic aims. The postholder will ensure that all aspects of the charity’s sales and marketing activities work to maximise awareness levels, income and net profit, ensuring performance targets are met and exceeded by driving sales and ensuring a dynamic online presence is developed and managed.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that direct sales, promotional and marketing activity is optimised and will also be required to represent the organisation at internal and external events.
Experience in a sales and marketing environment is essential, as is knowledge of website management and social media platforms. Exposure to retail and commercial activities is desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a pressurised environment. Due to the nature of the role, we require the postholder to have a flexible approach to days and hours of work.
Full driving licence required and access to a car as occasional travel throughout the District is required for this role.
Salary £17,500 per annum Pro rata, actual salary £8,277.03
17.5 hours per week over 2.5 or 3 days
Monday to Saturday (may include Sundays in future)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
