Youth Crime Outreach worker

Bradford is one of 21 Local Authority Areas to receive funding through the Troubled Families Programme for tackling youth crime. This fund will bring together VCS keyworkers, police, targeted Early Help, community groups, teachers and other professionals to intervene earlier to help stop young people from becoming drawn into crime, serious violence and entering the youth justice system.

 

This locality based model is an extension of the existing VCS Families First Partnership in Bradford comprising of Barnardo’s, Brathay Trust, JAMES and YMCA Bradford. The partnership are looking to recruit dynamic, experienced individuals to deliver coordinated responses for 6-13 year olds and their families through a Keyworker, school transition and outreach model of support.

Working outreach in the locality to engage with and meet the needs of young people who are at risk or involved in criminal activity.
