Bradford Perinatal Support Service Perinatal Support Service is aimed at pregnant women who have, or are at risk of developing, mild to moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. The project provides support to parents through a dedicated trained peer support volunteer who will offer emotional support and support to access other services in the community. It helps women through their pregnancy and up until their baby’s first birthday, and can work with their partners too. It supports families according to their needs and situation, through listening and emotional support and linking in with other specialist services and Children Centres.
