Bradford Youth Development Partnership – DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – Vacancy/Advert

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Development Officer to implement our vision and plans for this respected and innovative youth charity in Bradford. We wish to appoint an officer with proven skills to inspire stakeholders and deliver and manage youth work.

As a resilient team leader you will take responsibility for re-establishing us as a strong player in youth and community services and going forward, in partnership with others, re-position us to win contracts and funding.

The candidate should have an understanding of young people and the needs and issues caused by the downturn in funding opportunities for this group in Bradford. A key skill would be the ability to create/develop partnerships which would address these issues. We will also be looking for candidates who understand the training needs of young adults who want to work in their own and other communities, especially in the development of traineeships.

The post is full-or part-time for an initial period of six months with continuity dependent on future funding. Salary scale £30,507 pro rata.
