Fuel Poverty Project

Citizens Advice Bradford and Airedale is a large, busy district advice service based over 3 sites in Bradford, Shipley and Keighley. We are seeking a person with some advice work experience particularly with regard to benefit calculations. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive good support with a focus on alleviating fuel poverty, working across face to face and telephone channels.

You should be organised and able to work independently. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to listen, engage and empathise with potentially vulnerable clients.

  • Salary: £9,777 per annum plus 5% contribution to pension scheme.
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays plus 3 additional days (Pro Rata Total 18 Days).
  • Hours: 18.5 hours per week.
  • This contract is for a fixed term of two years.
  • This post may be based in Bradford, Shipley or Keighley depending on service needs.
  • This post is funded by Northern Powergrid.
