Age UK Bradford District and Positive Minds are recruiting a skilled Development Worker to join our partnership team, working with older people to develop their use of technology to reduce loneliness and isolation.

We are seeking:

Worth Connecting, Development Worker

Salary range circa £24,000 per annum

Working in designated areas across the Bradford District

Fixed Term Contract to May 2020 (extension of the funding is currently being sought)

Having experience and knowledge of the health and social care sector the post-holder will focus on equipping people over 55, with the skills and confidence to use digital means to communicate with others.  Training and supporting volunteers will be a key part of the role as well running group training and support sessions for older people.

37 hours per week over 5 days

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
