Fundraising Assistant

Based at our District Office in Wrose

Age UK Bradford District is an independent local charity, which supports older people to live their best life.

 

The Fundraising Assistant is a key role, which will focus on generating income in a range of ways to support older people in Bradford District.

 

The postholder will create and deliver an implementation plan to raise agreed target income for the charity, under the direction and supervision of the Director of Income Generation and will be required to accurately identify, plan, record, monitor, analyse and evaluate the progress of fundraising activity.

 

The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that all fundraising activity is cost effective and compliant with legal requirements and will also be required to represent the organisation at internal and external events.

 

Experience in a fundraising environment is essential, as is the ability to network and develop opportunities with corporate and individual supporters. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a pressurised environment. Due to the nature of the role, we require the postholder to have a flexible approach to days and hours of work.

 

Full driving licence required and access to a car as occasional travel throughout the District is required for this role.

 

Salary £17,500 per annum Pro rata, actual salary £9,932.43

 

21 hours per week

 

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
