Following the success of Spirit of 2012's Get Out & Get Active (GOGA) initiative within the Bradford district, which developed and delivered exciting new ways to support inactive people into active recreation, it has been confirmed that a further two years funding is available to develop a GOGA 2 scheme in the district.
In partnership with Activity Alliance (previously the English Federation of Disability Sport) BDSL has been given the unique role to lead, manage and deliver the GOGA 2 local project.
BDSL will be the local accountable body and as such is charged with ensuring the successful delivery and evaluations of the programme, this can only happen with a strong partnership approach within Bradford.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of the GOGA 2 Bradford initiative, with the opportunity to reach out to new audiences for fun and inclusive active recreation and see disabled and non-disabled people being active together.
