Solicitor (Family Law) – Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 / Hours - 37.5 Hours per week

Affordable Legal Services working in partnership with Staying Put and partners to bring about access to quality and affordable legal services across West Yorkshire.

ALS is looking for an experienced person to work competently as a solicitor dealing with privately funded work and actively seek opportunities for new work through business development. To support the general development of the business by working collaboratively with colleagues to provide a full service offering to family clients. To support growth through the promotion and delivery of an excellent service.

The solicitor will offer high quality legal services to Affordable Legal Services @ Staying Put and the suitable candidate will also work closely with Staying Put and other organisations to ensure integrated service provision for all affected by domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience essential plus a real passion for family law and to make a difference, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, very organised and a confident, excellent communicator. Essential car user as required to work at various locations covering West Yorkshire.
