Co-ordinator (18.5 hours)

Bradford People First currently requires a motivated and experienced Co-ordinator to lead and manage the organisation.

Bradford People First is a user-led, self-advocacy organisation, run by and for people with learning disabilities. We aim to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities in the Bradford District by helping them to have their voice heard. We do this through campaigning, facilitating self-advocacy forums, hosting events and training people with learning disabilities, professionals, carers and members of the public about things that are important to people with learning disabilities.

We have a vacancy for a committed and enthusiastic Co-ordinator. As the manager of this organisation you will oversee the delivery and development of Bradford People First. If you are looking for a role where you can really make a difference to the lives of people with a learning disability and feel you have the enthusiasm and experience to develop this role, we are keen to hear from you. The role is initially 18.5 hours but with the securing of more funding there is the opportunity to increase these hours.
