Young People's Transition Development Worker

Young People's Transition Development Worker job specification:

  • To support the existing and development of new provisions and services for children and young people transitioning into secondary school living in and around BD10/2.
  • Identify and secure funding to ensure continuity of provisions and services, provide new services and opportunities for young people living in and around BD10/2.
  • To support the management of staff and volunteers at Springfield Centre delivering provisions directly to young people and children including DBS, supervision, time management, expenses, guidance and programme planning and support for an apprentice(s).
  • Attend and develop local partnership meetings to explore new opportunities and ways of meeting the needs of young people and children.
  • Pulling together resources and assets for use by young people and the community of BD10/2.
  • Develop, co-ordinate and feed into Springwood Development Partnership Board.
