The Bridge Project is looking for self-motivated individual with a passion for working with families and parents to become our Peer Mentor Coordinator. This is an exciting new opportunity to join the
Stronger Families Team across Leeds and Bradford. The coordinator will be developing and leading a new scheme that will offer participants opportunity to use their life experiences to support others.

The scheme will provide added value to the overall Stronger Families programme, working closely with keyworkers to provide peer support to participants during any stage of their journey with the programme. This may include early engagement, support to appointments or listening ear. By the end of the programme Peer Mentors will leave with a skills portfolio that will support them in seeking training, education, employment opportunities.

The programme is part of Building Better Opportunities, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. The programme is delivered in Bradford and Leeds to support families to overcome the barriers preventing access to education, training, employment and skills building.
