Youth & Community Development Worker / Young People's Social Prescriber

Salary £21,585  pro rata + 5% pension

1 x 24hr per week post (or 2 x 12hr posts)

This role will work across a range of our youth service areas where you will engage and support children and young people, offer information, provide short-term interventions and offer/connect them into activities.

Our work aims to address loneliness, enhance social connections and wellbeing, raise awareness of, and reduce the risks of harm and strengthen the voice and influence of children and young people,

You will work closely with a wide range of professionals and other key stakeholders taking referrals and ensuring a joined up approach in providing support.

The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the energy and persistence to see tasks through to successful completion as they work within this developing service.
