Marketing and Fundraising Lead

As Marketing and Fundraising Lead you’ll have the opportunity to create and deliver integrated campaigns to promote our much needed work and services, whilst also helping to raise vital funds. You’ll also get the chance to raise awareness of issues related to health inequalities across the district and their impact on our communities.

You’ll work with colleagues, partner organisations and donors to build engaging relationships that support our wider strategy and community fundraising aims.

You’ll need to be innovative and creative with the ability to engage with people at all levels. Working for a charity means multi-tasking and sometimes working on projects outside of your specific role. 

We’re looking for someone who’s full of ideas with a strong track record of delivering meaningful campaigns that deliver results. You’ll need to be highly motivated and proactive, well organised and confident with the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a passionate and talented team.

  • Acting as our brand guardian, ensuring our image and tone of voice reflect the core values
  • Developing and implementing marketing and fundraising strategies to engage key stakeholders, supporting our wider strategy and showcasing our work
  • Managing and coordinating activities across all communication channels including PR, supporter engagement, digital, social media, campaigns and publications
  • Planning and organising imaginative activities and events to raise awareness and generate funds
  • Developing and maintaining opportunities and high-level relationships to raise our profile within the district, charity, corporate and mental health arena
  • Utilising existing design templates and working with external agencies, to design and deliver communication materials
  • Supporting colleagues with advice, training and resources to ensure our messages are delivered consistently and effectively
  • Leading on the development of our website, generating content and continually improving its functionality, maximising its potential and performance
  • Managing all social media channels, creating, sourcing and sharing engaging content to maintain our relationship with, and grow, our followers and supporters
  • Working with the Director of Operations and Finance Lead to prepare and monitor the fundraising budget, including development and monitoring of fundraising KPIs – to be reported to the Leadership Meeting, and Board of Trustees.
