Youth Worker - Targeted Support

We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual to join our Children and Young People’s team to deliver a range of youth interventions for young people aged 8-17 as we exit lockdown and continue to respond in a needs led approach.        

The role will include one2one and group work in a variety of settings including centre based, schools and community settings and may include the following interventions:.

  • Youth Mentor  e.g. NEET support
  • Thematic intervention working alongside Lead Practitioners e.g. Missing, CE.
  • Keyworker – Think Family Model
  • Education and Community targeted support at key transition points
  • Peer Mentoring programmes and youth social action projects

A working week of 30 hours, this will involve delivery after school and early evenings up to four times per week.
