Opportunities for qualified Counsellors

Step 2 is a unique project in Bradford which offers counselling to children and young people aged 5-25yrs in primary schools, secondary schools and at various locations in the local community. We are passionate about providing the very best service to some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Bradford and the surrounding areas.

Extended Access Service

Step 2 are increasing our offer of counselling to young people aged 16-25yrs in the Extended Access Service, which operates between 6.30pm and 9.30pm at a range of health centres around Bradford, alongside clinical services.

Therapeutic Parent Work

We are also looking to develop our offer of therapeutic work with parents and looking for counsellors who would could deliver parent group work and 1:1 work with parents.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Person Centred Counsellors (minimum Diploma) who have some experience of working with young people and who are passionate about this area of work. You will join our dedicated and growing team who currently offer counselling to around 190 children and young people per week in a range of settings.

You will be flexible in your approach and be well supported in your work. NB. Currently the work is being offered remotely but face to face work will be resuming at some point in the future.

£20 per hour (dependant on experience)
