Hub Development Coordinator - Bradford South & West

Our Community Hubs are a warm welcoming space, where people can make the connections they need to live their best possible life – or volunteer their time or pick up a bargain in the charity shop section. Each of the six hubs delivers a range of functions including Information, Help & Support, Advice and Activities across the community including events and fundraising.

Working with the operations team, the Hub Development Coordinator will lead  AUKBD’s work  in the Bradford South and West areas developing the Community Hub’s across the areas in line with our values and in response  community conversations and engagement and the availability of resources.

The hubs will work on an asset based community development approach and the post holder will be expected to take the lead on developing community responses and support that put people first and enable age friendly communities.  A significant part of the work will be around recruiting and developing volunteers and a network of community buddies.   

The post holder will require a person centred focus, experience of working with people, together with an understanding of the needs of older people and ideally experience of volunteer support and project development.

The nature of the post will require travel in the area. A full driving license, appropriate insurance cover and use of a car is essential.

Salary £22,500 per annum pro rata. £18,243.24 actual salary.

30 hours per week - to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the business and the community

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
