Advice Coordinator, Welfare Rights Advice

We have been building stronger families since 1869 and today we work with more than 60,000 families in over 150 community based services, as well as supporting thousands more through national programmes and grants.

We are now seeking a part-time Advice Coordinator to join our long-established Bradford Advice Service, on a permanent contract.

As an Advice Coordinator you will lead on delivering social, welfare and public law advice, including specialist benefits, generalist level debt, housing and income maximisation. You will line manage the advice worker team and deputise for the Service Manager in their absence. In addition, you will lead on quality processes and triage a telephone helpline and advice drop-in’s when required.

We are looking for an experienced welfare benefits caseworker, who has leadership experience and a sound understanding of the Advice Quality Standards (AQS), awarded to services delivering social welfare legal advice.
