Family and Community Engagement Worker – Dads and Male Carers

Full Time (37 Hours Per Week)             

£26,000

Better Start Bradford is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund to help children in Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton get the best start in life. We deliver over 20 projects for expectant families and families with children aged 0-3, including support before, during and after birth, reading, play, healthy cooking and eating and English language skills. Job Details

We’re looking for someone to support our communities in taking ownership of local activities, encouraging dads and male carers in particular to become more involved. The role will also involve working with the local community to promote the Better Start Bradford programme objectives, including improved outcomes for children and families.

Applicants should have experience of working with dads and male carers in community settings to support the parent/child relationship. They should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of dads’ involvement in early childhood development.
