The Immanuel Project: serving the homeless and vulnerable of Bradford

Our aim is to show love and acceptance to our guests.  We open our doors to some of the most vulnerable and homeless in Bradford and serve home cooked breakfasts and lunches throughout the week.  Our guests can engage with many and varied activities.  For example, agencies such as housing, drug and substance abuse, and welfare services. We also offer many in-house services including hairdressing, a clothing bank, literacy teaching and allied health services such as a mobile doctor’s surgery and a chiropodist.

Job title: Outreach worker

Location:  The Immanuel Centre, 29/31 Westgate, Bradford, BD1 2QT and other outreach locations as appropriate

Role overview:  We are looking for an organised and pro-active person with a heart for those on the margins and someone who is able to coordinate and deliver the wellbeing aspects of our work.

You will be a part of a team of gifted staff and volunteers who are passionate about their work and the positive contributions they make.  

Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
