We are looking for people with great listening skills who can offer emotional support and carry out risk assessments via our helpline for people experiencing domestic abuse. Based in our Bradford office, this role will join our team who provide a high quality and proactive front-door service and deliver a pathway of care focussing on immediate safety and initial support.

Prime objectives of post

• To work as a member of the team to offer helpline listening, emotional support and initial assessment of risk and needs to individuals offering gender sensitive service to those experiencing domestic and/or sexual abuse (DSA).
• Assess individuals for and refer on within the partnership for provision of intervention identified
• To provide a high quality and pro-active front-door service to individuals experiencing DSA; delivering a pathway of care focussing on immediate safety and initial support plan
• Ensure whole family approach to safeguarding and support planning
• Initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims.
