We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker to join the Maintenance team, a level 2 trade qualification in a relevant trade with be beneficial. This position is a permanent full time role working 35 hours per week. Salary is £21,008.00 - £22,220.00 per annum (depending on a level 2 trade qualification relevant to the role). We offer great benefits including, 6 weeks ‘annual leave plus statutory holidays and a contributory pension scheme. This role is generally based across the North Yorkshire area requiring you to work and travel across the region. You will be providing a service to the Gypsy and Traveller sites and other accommodation services within the group from time to time. 

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair work including, but not limited to, plumbing, joinery and flooring. You will have the skill and ability to move, assemble and dismantle furniture including the removal and disposal of household/outdoor items and rubbish. You will conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure properties and land owned or managed by the organisation are maintained to a high standard and comply with regulatory standards. You will maintain external grounds including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding etc. You will have previous experience in property maintenance or within a related field and have an understanding of the potential risk to health, safety and welfare in maintenance work.  

A valid driving licence is essential for this role.
