Wellbeing Coach

We are seeking a Wellbeing Coach to join the team responsible for delivering World Jewish Relief’s Specialist Training and Employment Programme for refugees (STEP). You will provide people with an understanding of the wellbeing support programme available and support them to access the service. You will provide holistic support as part of the wider STEP programme, working on confidence and personal development, as well as preparing people for competitive employment and helping them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. 

About You

You will have worked with refugees and/or people seeking asylum and with people who have experienced traumatic events. You will have experience of running therapeutic groups/facilitating group activities. An understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people to finding work, including those whose first language is not English, is essential. You will be qualified or working toward Diploma in Counselling or have equivalent experience.

Essential for the Role

• Valid driving licence and use of vehicle insured for business use
• Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
