Staying Put are part of Bradford Survive and Thrive, an exciting and innovative multi-agency partnership bringing together 3 organisations, Family Action, Staying Put and Women Centre, who are working together to develop a ‘one system approach’ to families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Staying Put’s vision is to lead the way in quality service provision to victims of abuse and violence, to remove the barriers that prevent people from speaking out and seeking help.

Handyperson

Women only - ** Due to the nature of our refuges being for women only, we can only accept applications from women under schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010**

We are looking for an experienced handyperson to work within our refuges and community houses to ensure that the maintenance of the properties and gardens remains at a high standard for our clients. You will carry out general maintenance and small repairs, including minor electrical and plumbing repairs.

Prime objectives of post

1. To provide efficient and effective caretaking support across Staying Put including ensuring security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards

2. To carry out repairs, improve and provide maintenance support throughout the schemes and across all accommodation sites

3. Ensure Health and Safety compliance across all provisions.

Full time, £22,000- £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Based in Bradford & Keighley
