Daizybell Trustee

Recruiting Trustees

We are currently recruiting women to join the Daizybell board of trustees.

Daizybell Homes (Charity Incorporated Organisation – application pending) is a sister organisation to Bradford Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Survivors Service. It is a new entity with a clear and specific objective: to provide safe homes for women and their children in Bradford who have previously or are currently experiencing some level of vulnerability or hardship. This could be as a result of domestic and or sexual abuse, trafficking or other oppressive circumstances. Daizybell’s mission is to provide safe homes for women and their families to help them move beyond their adverse experiences and towards a life free from fear, harm and oppression.

We have made significant progress of Phase 1 of our objectives to provide 30 individual safe homes during 2021. Our ambitious vision is then set on accessing multiple funding sources to continue to expand the property portfolio over the next three years.

To support this venture, Daizybell is seeking a number of women to join the board and provide the necessary strategic and corporate support.

We would love to hear from you if you believe that every woman deserves a safe home in which they can reach their full potential away from a life of harm and live without fear. Daizybell’s journey is just starting, so if you want to be part of this dynamic team that will help change lives: this is exactly the right time to join.

We would particularly welcome applicants that represent the ethnic diversity of Bradford City and individuals with lived experience of domestic or sexual abuse. We are equally keen to hear from anyone who has a passion for fighting inequality and supporting vulnerable women in their time of need.
