We are seeking an experienced governance professional to join our award-winning governance team, providing support for the Governance Manager and a full and comprehensive clerking service to at least four of our Academy Governing Councils (AGCs), as well as cover for other academies and support for complaints, exclusions and HR panels, as needed.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential as the role involves some twilight/evening meetings which tend to cluster in certain weeks of term.
The successful candidate will be expected to already hold or be willing to undertake the Chartered Governance Institute’s level 3 qualification in clerking, which will be funded by the Trust.
This role can work from home or our West Yorkshire Hub office in Bradford, as well as involving visits to our academies in Leeds and Bradford.
